Wow, Hi all,

Well today is a very special day for me. Why ?

Because today, finally one of my work's was appreciated in a very nice fashion. My last robot witch I called 6 based on the concept Art made by Scarecovv ( http://www.crowstuff.co.uk/ ).

Will be used for the gaming (non-commercial) web site http://www.rexplayer.com as a logo and an official mascot.

It is really pleasing to receive such a good feedback for a hours spent on modeling.

Hello to all :)

Well at last I've finished my horse project.

I spent quite a while on this project, because I started it without any idea of what I will have as the final result of the model, I just wanted to create quite complex model and to test my skills.

I think it came out quite a good project and I'm realy satisfied with it :) There is some bug's on the mesh, but what can you expect.

Now I will make a scene for the ''HORSIE'' and then will pose him and make a final render :) I hope the final render will look great, I will really try :)

Work gallery (till 15/11/2011)

Well, here are my finished work's, these all made only with 3DS Max 2011.

Let's start from the beggining:

My first 3 job's were made using the basis techniques (spheres, boxes etc.) to get used to the software, interface etc. The references I've found using the google search. (sorry but I can't remember where at the moment).

Later on I decided to make Bender character from Futurama cartoon, here you have an outcome. Bare in mind this is only the second month of using the software, without any knowlegde from before.

And then I found a superb web page with tutorial's, www.tutorial-z.com and then the thing's started to improve. Using the tutorial's from this web page I made the model below.

And after making the Audi TT, I decided to make my own car and I've decided to make this using the techniques learned in that time.

At the moment I'm working on my Horse project. I will post it later on .

General Information about me

Hi Guys,

First of all, if you're reading this I want to thank you for visiting my blog. I hope it will be a worth wile to read.

I will start from the basic information, my name is Artur and I come from Lithuania (a small country near the baltic sea). At the moment I live in Spain, near the sea as well, small town called Moncofa, prov. Castellon.

In the comunity forums I'm known as rojito or shmykis. Depend's what language is in the forum or community, because for Spanish speaking people is quite difficult to pronounce my main nickname shmykis.

In the summer of 2011 I've decided to start learning 3Ds Max software from Autodesk, from the chieldhood I was into cartoon's etc. So just wanted to try how it goes and how the proccess is done. And, to tell you the truth, I felt in love with it. Since then I don't do anything else in my free time.

In my next post I will make a small gallery of my work's.
